Hi there, my name is Kelly-Anne Dela Cueva but you can call me Kelly! :) I’m heading into my 5th year at McMaster studying in the Life Sciences program. I currently live in (and will be participating in FMSA activities from) Mississauga and I’ve commuted from home a majority of my time at Mac. A few of the most memorable things I’ve experienced in FMSA include helping start the Kaibigans of McMaster project and participating in Pinoys on Parliament. Both initiatives taught me a lot about the importance of maintaining and celebrating Filipino culture and community.
This school year I am honoured to have the opportunity to serve as Co-President. My role entails helping organize the exec team to create and promote initiatives regarding Filipino culture that unify and uplift the general members, exec team and community. In my free time I enjoy talking to friends and family, watching K-dramas, exploring Youtube and Twitter, going on walks, art/DIY-ing (I love photography/videography, painting and sketching) and much more. Hi there! My name is Martin and I’m excited to serve as one of your Co-Presidents this year! I’m in my fourth year of Chemical Biology Co-op and happy to answer any of your orgo questions, in exchange for a good meal. I’m open to discussing a wide range of peculiar topics, including global politics, emotional development, and Ariana’s impact on popular culture.
I’m also an advocate for Filipino and LGBTQ+ representation in positions of leadership. I’ve always been passionate about FMSA since my first year; it’s a comfortable space to build friendships, foster personal growth, and act as a home away from home.
