VP Administration
Hi hello peeps! My name is Cayene (Kai-een, AKA Cay, AKA Spicy) Manlulu, and I was born in the Philippines, but raised in Sauga. To McMaster, I am merely a 4th year Biology student crying over the online school semester, but to FMSA I am the VP-Admin for the 2020-2021 school year! I am in charge of the boring (just kidding) things in FMSA such as making meeting minutes, writing the newsletter, booking rooms (if it wasn’t online), and essentially just working on the logistics behind the scenes (yanno, ADMINistrative stuff LOL). Before I was admin, I was VP External (MSU) - now called External Director - for FMSA last year, and I came back ‘cause I loved FMSA so much I decided to stay another year. If I’m not focused on FMSA or school, I like to watch anime, go out to eat with my friends (obviously not during the pandemic, but I have an extensive list of food places on Google Sheets I’ve tried hmu for the link), play the piano, draw (more like doodle), read webtoons, and listen to k-pop (casually). I realize now that I have an extensive list of hobbies, so feel free to add me on social media to chat about these things, to chat about anything really, to ask questions, and/or to be my friend :) Hope to see y’alls beautiful faces (virtually, and hopefully eventually in person) at events!
Niko Ty
VP Finance
Hi friends! The names Niko Ty. I was born in Mississauga but raised in Oakville. I’m in my 4th year of Commerce, specializing in Finance with a minor in Economics. I am this year’s VP Finance. I do a lot behind the scenes and I’m responsible for basically anything that involves money. A lot of things I do is probably a snooze fest for most people but I absolutely love it since I’m just a numbers kinda guy (hence why I’m going into finance). A quick summary of the things I do is, creating financial documents such as cash flow and income statements, creating and maintaining sponsor relationships, searching for funding opportunities, and most importantly ensuring that we have a successful year financially so that we can do well on behalf of our charity. During the school year, I’m usually always studying and before this year you could always bank on catching me at Innis (rip). However, when I’m not studying I’m usually either working out at the gym, playing volleyball, watching k-dramas, or even just hanging out with my friends in one of our houses or at a bubble tea place doing absolutely nothing. Feel free to reach out to me for anything as I’d be happy to get to know each and every one of you and hopefully we’ll be able to meet in person during the school year.
